Poetry Friday

For the most part, poetry baffles me. And yet I continue to read poems, because every once in a while I come across one that stops my heart. This is one of them:

“Poem for an inked daughter”, by Jean Wyrick

I do not have a tatoo, and I was not a particularly rebellious teen. But I have a mother, and I have a daughter, and I get it. I get it.
