On Saturday my daughter and I hauled a giant pile of old sneakers to Wellesley Booksmith, where green-thinking booksellers were collecting them in honor of America Recycles Day. Author Nancy F. Castaldo was on hand to share even more ideas for preserving our planet and its resources, and she signed copies of her Kids Can! Book, KEEPING OUR EARTH GREEN.
