Last night was Literacy Night at the Spring Street School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, and I was lucky enough to be part of the festivities. What a treat to catch up with my friends at Spring Street, especially the Mrs. Travers’ fourth-graders, whose enthusiasm for TRACKING TRASH is downright contagious. Thanks, friends!
As if all this weren’t thrilling enough, I presented alongside my friend and colleague, Judith Jango-Cohen. Judith has over forty books to her credit, many of them on science and nature topics, and it was great fun for me to hang out with her. To learn more about Judith, her books and photography, and her school visits, stop by her website.
Hooray for Spring Street School!
Hooray for its book-loving students!
And Hooray for their families, who made time for Literacy Night in the midst of a busy springtime!
