Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary
Celebrate National Moth Week by getting to know the moths of central Massachusetts in this hands-on evening event at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary. That’s right: a moth ball! Bring a headlamp if you have one, and whatever observation tools you like best: magnifying glass, loupe, journal, camera, etc.

Join Loree to celebrate moths and moth-watching at this National Moth Week– themed event. You’ll hear about the creation of the picture book You’re Invited to a Moth Ball and leave with tips and tricks that will help you get to know the moths that live in your neck of the woods.

Haiku Monthly
Join Loree and local haiku poets to reconsider and reconnect with the natural world through this seemingly simple poetic form. This group is for teenagers and adults, beginner to master, interested in exploring haiku in English. We meet at the Beaman Memorial Library in West Boylston, MA each month to wander indoors and out, to read, to write, and to share our poems.
